Haad Rin has a compact centre with places to eat and evening activity; the Full Moon Party takes place on Haad Rin Nok.

For an island arrival from Koh Samui, the Haad Rin Queen sails from Bangrak directly to Haad Rin; the crossing takes about 20–30 minutes, with around six departures a day. From the pier, the 500 m approach to the resort can be covered on foot. Free public parking is possible on site. Haad Rin Nok is 800 m away for swimming and the monthly Full Moon Party site is 850 m from the resort. Haad Yuan is 2.1 km away and Haad Thian is 2.7 km away; neither has a road connection, so visitors reach them by taxi-boat from Haad Rin. The resort offers canoeing, snorkelling, diving and cycling for time on and around the water. Koh Phangan’s wettest period runs from October to December, with rougher seas on the east coast during November and December.
